PODCAST | EPISODE #18

The unconscious mind shapes 95% of your behavior. To say that it’s powerful is almost an understatement! 💪
In transformational coaching (and deep psychology), we love to work with the unconscious because that’s where deep, lasting change starts. When you shift something on that level of consciousness, changes will naturally follow in your outer world—often with surprisingly little effort.
Various schools of thought in psychology, philosophy, and neuroscience have explored the unconscious mind. You’ve probably heard of Freud, who introduced the concept, but another pioneer in this field is Carl G. Jung.
In today’s episode, I’m joined by David Rottman, Past President and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York and a member of the Jung Foundation’s Continuing Education faculty. With over 30 years of experience studying, teaching, and lecturing on Jung’s ideas, David is also the author of The Career As a Path to the Soul.
David combines Jungian psychology with helping people uncover their purpose, gain career clarity, and live a deeply fulfilled life.
In this episode on the unconscious mind, we dive into:
✨ How your unconscious mind helps you find your purpose
💼 Gaining career clarity and discovering your path to fulfillment through Jungian insights
🧠 How the unconscious communicates with you—and how to tune in
🪞 Using career challenges as mirrors for inner growth
👨👩👧👦 The influence of family history on your career interests, struggles, and goals
This is an inspiring conversation filled with practical insights and heartfelt wisdom to help you connect with your unconscious and align your career with your true self.
