When you think of creating more FREEDOM in your career, what do you think are your options?
I used to think that the I only way I could create more FREEDOM was to have my own business.
I envied my freelancer friends when I was stuck at my desk in the office, watching them come and go as they pleased, staying longer if they wanted to (and not if they didn't) and would give anything for the control they seemed to have of their time, location, schedule and income. 🙈
Now, while I highly encourage you to start your business (even if it's a few hours a week + a form of additional income so you're not dependent on your salary!), I notice with my clients that for some, even though they want FREEDOM, they value financial STABILITY more.
And that's ok!
We live in a time & place where it's never been easier to create your own model of work.
Remember the framework I mentioned earlier?
Ashley Stahl, entrepreneur, bestselling author and speaker, differentiates between intrapreneurs & entrepreneurs. Entrepreneur is someone who creates their own company. Intrapreneur is like an entrepreneur within a company, but without the full risk.
And I added another category to the mix because work models today are becoming more and more flexible and there are more ways to combine the two.

1️⃣ You have a hunger for FREEDOM and are excited about having FULL control over all the aspects of your business (what you choose to work on, how you want to communicate, etc.) + your schedule (when and how you choose to work)
2️⃣ You have a passion for building, innovating, creating ideas / projects from scratch
3️⃣ You're comfortable with taking risks and know you can rely on yourself to create financial security (risks > financial security)
4️⃣ You love the game of entrepreneurship
5️⃣ You love growth and are ok with the cycles of creating, learning and failing, creating, learning and failing

You work part time for a company, ensuring you have a predictable monthly income and a level of financial safety + you work part-time on your business.
This way you have structure & flexibility within the company you work for AND a level of complete freedom within your business.
You can have what you want. Anything is possible, especially right now.
If not within your current company, then within another company. If not with your current business, with a new business. If not with your current work model, then with a different work model.
The main question is, what do you want? What does freedom mean to you? And what kind of environment do you thrive in?
